Department of Communication UHAMKA, in collaboration with Lembaga Pers Dr. Soetomo (LPDS) or Dr. Soetomo Press Institute; and Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University (DMMMSU), Philippine; are organizing international Joint Virtual Internship “Media Convergence in the digital communication era”. This program is an implementation of SEATVET Membership to develop learning and teaching among south-east Asian students.
The participants of this internship consists of of 11 students from UHAMKA and 19 students from DMMMSU.
This Virtual Internship program develops some objectives:
- Increasing international and partnership;
- Extending the collaboration network with practitioners and industrial partners
- Providing learning experiences outside the study program for students to be recognized or converted to courses
- Giving insight for lecturers who are involved in international partnerships
- Building branding for study programs and faculty at the global level
